Assistant Director

Aquaphobe

Beautiful crew, still best friends after completing the shoot.

“Are you a cat, or a girl?”

Aquaphobe is a short film about a young woman who used to be a cat who must conquer her fear of water in order to save her relationship.

I was the first assistant director and worked a lot in pre-production on this project as a key collaborator with director, Melanie Easton, and producer, Gilbert Attrill. We formed a really tight and friendly team and I helped cultivate the positive vibe on set.

A challenging, short time frame to shoot in due to actor availability, I was able to help maximize efficiency from the cast and crew. We managed to shoot both animals and underwater camera work.

Producer and me, smashing out the footage at the swimming pool, thanks Norwood Swim School!
